Gian Carlo Durland- Performance credits include Film (“Maria’s Gravy Pot”, “Pray”), Commercials (“Just For Men”,”Cablevision”, Web-MD”, “Price Chopper”) and TV ,( “30 Rock” , “Tori and Dean” “The Tonight Show” and “Gotham” as well as principal roles in two episodes of the ID Channel’s acclaimed show “A Crime to Remember” .

He has appeared in (and sung on the original soundtrack recordings) “The Fall of the House of Usher”, “Topsy Turvy” and “Reach for the Stars” (which he co-authored) in NYC. He has performed in dozens of stage productions, revues and concerts. His favorite roles include leads in “Of Mice and Men” (Perry Award nom, Best Actor), “Seussical”, La Cage Aux Follies” “Forum”, “Talk Radio” “South Pacific”, “Torch Song Trilogy” , “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” “My Fair Lady” and “Laughter on the 23rd Floor”. GCD has studied at HB Studios, Weist-Barron, and the Roundabout Theater Ensemble and has a Masters Degree in English Literature from Monmouth University. He currently jets around the nation (and globe) performing as a wacky detective for MURDER MYSTERY USA.

Phil Korz

PHIL KORZ- Phil originated the role of Caleb in the stage version of RIPPLES OF WATER. His other stage credits with the La Strada Ensemble Theater include NOT CURING CANCER, SECOND FLOOR and OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES.
His television work includes roles in : MYSTERIES AT THE MUSEUM, DIAPPEARED, STREET JUSTICE: THE BRONX, SIX DEGREES OF MURDER and QUANTICO among others as well as a memorable role in the award winning web series THE SKELETON CREW. It is his work as a stand up comedian, however that first started Phil on his journey.

The first time Phil Korz took the stage in 2009 he went home Salisbury University’s “Last Comic Standing” winner. He performed with professional names such as Chad Daniels, Marianne Sierk, KT Tatara, and Adam Ace early on in his career. Phil completed his first Cross Country tour documentary “It’s Just Me” in 2016 filmed by Exploding Head Theory. Since, Phil has shared the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, George Wallace, Drew Lynch from Americas Got Talent, Nikki Carr from Last Comic Standing, and Bryan Riley from Conan. He was also featured on a live talk show “Late Night with Pascal” on ABC in ST. Louis. Now Phil Korz is an International Touring Comedian. He has performed live at Ibreostar Resort in Montego Bay Jamaica as well as a Royal Caribbean Cruise line.

He is currently involved BIG PINE COMEDY FESTIVAL and the SAN DIEGO COMEDY COMEDY FESTIVAL and is about embark on yet another North AMERICAN tour. Be on the lookout for a tour documentary of his travels “IT’S JUST ME” which is currently in post-production.

A.J. Ciccotelli

A.J. Ciccotelli (Marco) appears in the upcoming short films Ricky’s Story as Maxwell, I.W.S.K. as Prof. Hitch and The Dance as Frank Maze. He made his feature movie debut as Captain Robert Burns in Joseph Pepitone’s The Evangelist that was distributed internationally and winning best horror feature at the Atlantic City Cinefest festival here in the states. That film can be seen on Amazon. He will be featured in the upcoming Doug Bollinger project Rock, Paper, Scissors. A stage actor trained by some of the finest in the business, he appeared in three decades worth of productions most notably recreating his role as Jack Gallo in Darren Debari’s upcoming The Destruction of the American Male.

 

Donna Ault Jacobson

Donna Ault Jacobson (Abby) has been a member of SAG for over 30 years. She recently directed A.J.Cicotelli and Christine Nagy in a film short Ricky’s Story to be released this spring. Donna is a founding member of La Strada Ensemble Theater in Ocean Grove New Jersey where she serves as the secretary/treasurer on the board of directors and serves on various committees. Donna’s stage credits include the following La Strada Productions: Robert Patrick’s The Heterosexuals, A. J. Ciccotelli’s Fab & Ren, Was It Worth It, How Did That Made You Feel?, Politics of Pottery, Ed Shakespeare’s Tomorrow is Valentines Day and I Hare Your Guts; Mary Jane Walsh’s Ping, Paul Victor Wargelin’s Cockatoo, Dennis Gribben’s Murder on the Paradise Line and Box of Memories. She appeared as Clara in Edwin Sanchez’s The Road and Allan Wrede’s Family Discussion. Lucia in Jen DiOrio’s Lucia and John and Colleen in Curtis Dunn’s Gifts and Ann in Mike Sockol’s Bris. She directed Tom Cavanaugh’s Poker Nights, Gerry Ringwald’s Decisions, Decisions and Where’s Fred?, Robert Scott’s plays Closure, Amateur Killer and Second Floor. This coming spring she will be directing A.J. Ciccotelli and Christine Nagy in Darren Debari’s The Destruction of the American Male .Last month Donna directed A.J. Ciccotelli’s My Last Day On Earth at the Manhattan Repertoire Theatre. In this festival she directed Paul Wargelin’s Old Flame and Robert Scott’s Just Friends and playing the role of Hazel in Ed Shakespeare’s Cheap Therapy and Terry in Mike Sockol’s Hostages.

 

Evan Black

Evan Black (Bruce) made his film debut last year as Father Anderson in Ricky’s Story and a serial killer in A.J.Cicotelli’s I.W.S.K. Evan is a founding member of La Strada Ensemble Theater and the president of the board of directors and serves as the chair for the membership committee and fundraising. Evan’s acting credits with La Strada include the following: Robert Patrick’s The Heterosexuals, A. J. Ciccotelli’s The Fairy Plays, Was It Worth It? How Did That Made You Feel?, Fab & Ren, Politics of Pottery; Darren Debari’s The Devil’s Playground, and Carol White’s Any Minute Now, Paul Victor Wargelin’s The Cockatoo, Dennis Gribben’s Murder on the Paradise Line, and Box of Memories and W. Allen Wrede’s Family Discussion. He also appeared as Jack in Edwin Sanchez’s The Road. Evan also appeared as Murray in Mike Sockol’s Bagels and Sam in Bris , Michael in Curtis Dunn’s Gifts; directed Gerry Ringwald’s Blue Pill and Thomas Ryan Ward’s Never Another You for our Gifts Festival. He also directed Mike Sockol’s Antecdote and will be co-directing Darren Debari’s The Destruction of the American Male in the spring. Most recently Evan appeared in A.J. Ciccotelli’s My Last Days On Earth along with AJ at the Manhattan Repertoire Theatre. He directed Ed Shakespeare’s Cheap Therapy for this festival and is acting in Gary Walter’s Independence Day as Harison and Mike Sockol’s Hostages as Joe.

 

 Christine Nagy

Christine Nagy is a founding member of La Strada Ensemble Theatre and has done several productions with the company, including leading roles in Not Curing Cancer, Drowning in Euphoria and The Dance.

Christine has also just completed a short film adaptation of The Dance. You can hear Christine weekday mornings on New York’s top rated radio station, 106.7 Lite-FM and catch her voice-over work in national commercials.

Sarah Osman

Sarah Osman is a recent graduate of the OCVTS: Performing Arts Academy high school where she studied as an acting major. She is currently an NJSTARS college student on the path to earning her degree as a performing arts major. While being a student, Sarah serves on the state board as the Membership Chair and Sponsorship Coordinator of New Jersey’s International Thespian Society where she strives to promote and enrich the theatre education experience. Some of Sarah’s achievements include the Outstanding Performance award from the OCVTS: Performing Arts Academy theatre program. In the span of her two years as a student participant in the Thespian Festival- Sarah was recognized five times for her acting performance on the state-level, and ranked ‘Internationally Superior’ both years for her contrasting monologue performances. In 2017 she received a Montclair Theatre Night ‘Foxy’ Award for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress in a Comedy for her portrayal of Sabina in “The Skin of Our Teeth”. Sarah is grateful for her journey and experience working on Ripples of Water, and hopes those who watch are as positively and artistically affected as she was.

 

Brian Craig

Brian Craig (Rodney) is happy and grateful to be making his film debut with this production.

He has appeared in numerous New Jersey theatrical productions, most recently as Lenny in Of Mice and Men at Holmdel Theater Company.

He lives in Belmar, NJ.
